New Hope’s Night to Unite Returns Aug. 4
Posted on 05/22/2026

Get ready to connect with your neighbors! New Hope’s Night to Unite returns Tuesday, Aug. 4, and neighborhoods across the city are invited to take part in this annual community-building event.

Formerly known as National Night Out, Night to Unite promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help make New Hope safer, more connected and more caring place to live. The event also provides residents an opportunity to meet police officers, firefighters, City staff, elected officials and representatives from organizations that serve the community.

Neighborhood celebrations can be as simple or creative as you’d like. Many neighborhoods host block parties, cookouts, potlucks, ice cream socials, yard games, neighborhood walks and other activities focused on bringing people together. Throughout the evening, registered parties may also receive visits from police officers, firefighters and other City representatives.

REGISTER YOUR PARTY
Neighborhoods are encouraged to register their Night to Unite gatherings with the City of New Hope and the New Hope Police Department. Registration helps coordinate visits from public safety staff and other City representatives, including police, fire, public works and City leadership.
