Voter Information
City‐administered elections are held in even numbered years. In 2024,New Hope voters have three opportunities to cast their ballot:
- Presidential Nomination Primary - March 5
- Primary Election - Aug. 13
- General Election - Nov. 5
The city clerk and elections office are available to answer your questions about voter registration and elections. The city clerk administers city, state and federal elections.

Time Off to Vote
In a state or federal election, state statute gives eligible voters the right to arrange for time away from work to vote on Election Day without penalty or loss of salary or wages.
