Snow Emergency Declared: Effective Sunday, Nov. 30 at 2 a.m.
The City of New Hope has declared a snow emergency beginning at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30.
PARKING RESTRICTIONS
To help crews clear the roads safely and efficiently, parking is prohibited on all city streets starting at 2 a.m.
Remember the “curb-to-curb” rule: you may not park on the street until the snowfall has ended and the street has been fully plowed from curb to curb. A single plow pass does not mean parking is allowed. Vehicles left on the street during a snow emergency may be ticketed and towed.
SIDEWALK RESPONSIBILITY
Residents and businesses are responsible for clearing snow and ice from the sidewalks next to their property. Keeping sidewalks clear helps keep pedestrians safe and our community accessible.
PLOW SAFETY
Public works crews will be out throughout the City clearing roads and intersections. Please drive slowly around plows and give them the room they need to do their job safely.
