The New Hope City Council recognized the winners of the 2024-2025 Snowman/Snow Sculpture Contest during its meeting on April 28. This annual contest featured 11 entries, showcasing the creativity of the City's residents.

The winners are as follows:

• First Place: “Snow Kitty” by Niko Bettaglio
• Second Place: “Bitey McBiteFace” by Leah and Micah Cone
• Third Place: “Happy Hopper” by Kenna Witter

The annual contest is sponsored by the New Hope Citizen Advisory Commission and is open to individuals, families, neighborhoods, and groups within the city. Entrants had until March 31 to submit their creations, which were then voted on by the commission. Winners had the option to choose between a cash prize or a gift certificate for New Hope Parks and Recreation programming.
