Minnesota’s Presidential Nomination Primary to Take Place March 3

On March 3, also known as Super Tuesday, Minnesotans will vote in a Presidential Nomination Primary for the first time in nearly 30 years.

Find out where to vote and view a sample ballot on the Secretary of State’s website.

Register to vote on Election Day
You can register or update your registration when you vote. Remember to bring proof of residence.

If you changed your name or address since the last election, you will need to update your registration.

View election results
After the polls close, results will be available on both Hennepin County's website and the Secretary of State’s website.

Vote absentee through March 2
You can vote absentee in-person at New Hope City Hall or at the Hennepin County Government Center downtown Minneapolis. New Hope City Hall will be open the following hours for voting leading up to Election Day:
• Monday thru Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 29: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Monday, March 2: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
