A quaint spot on the far north side of New Hope, Dorothy Mary Park has the unique characteristic of being completely wooded. Although it’s little over six acres in total, it is nevertheless a beautiful park, and a great place to go if you’re in the mood for a short, peaceful walk. It occupies a space just south of 62nd ave, and has entrances on Xylon, 60 ½ ave, and 61st ave.

The park contains multiple gravel paths, interposed with an occasional wooden bridge over a small pond and some streams. A small dock overlooks a pond near the southwest side of the park.

Although it looks rather small on a map, it’s bigger than you’d expect. The first time going through, it's rather easy to get lost for a bit. But a short jog/walk along any path will take you back to civilization in no time.
