New Hope City Council has approved five contracts for demolition and construction projects to take place at Civic Center Park.

The projects, approved at the March 25 New Hope City Council meeting, include demolition of the current city hall/police station, the park shelter building, outdoor theater and hockey rink, and the construction of a new city pool, theater, skatepark, and improvements for landscaping, parking and other park amenities.

Demolition projects will begin this spring, and construction shortly thereafter. All projects are scheduled for completion in the summer of 2020.
