New Hope’s In Focus Photo Contest allows community members to showcase their photography skills while exploring what makes New Hope a great community to live, work and play.

Participants may enter up to one photograph in the three main categories: People, Places, and Wildlife and Nature. Entered must be taken somewhere in New Hope by individuals who live, work or study in the city. Entries may be submitted by email to [email protected] or New Hope City Hall, 4401 Xylon Avenue North.

All entries must be received by Tuesday, Oct. 31.

 A panel of judges will evaluate entries on visual appeal, pictorial composition, and originality and select winners in each category and a youth category for photographers under age 18. Community members will have the opportunity to cast a vote for their favorite beginning in November.

Contest winners will be recognized at a January meeting of the New Hope City Council. Winners will receive an award plaque, and their photos will be featured on the City website, social media accounts and in City publications.
