The city acquired the property at 3924 Utah Avenue North with the goal of rehabilitating the house as part of a demonstration project for the neighborhood. The 1961 home features a two-story home design that is common throughout the area. The city has invested approximately $186,000 into improving the home, which included removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room to create an open floor plan and converting two upstairs bedrooms into a master suite/bath. The renovation project included improvements to nearly all interior and exterior areas of the house.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the city will not be hosting an open house for neighbors this summer. Those interested in seeing the inside of the house can view a 3D tour and photos by clicking on the links above.
