Absentee Voting

Eligibility

You are eligible to vote by absentee ballot if:

If you have a permanent disability, contact the New Hope City Clerk's Office at 763-531-5100 to apply for a recurring absentee ballot application.

Availability

Absentee ballots are available 30 days before an election. If you are not registered to vote, a voter registration card will be included with your ballot and must be returned with the ballot.

An official absentee ballot application may be obtained from New Hope City Hall by calling 763-531-5100 or Hennepin County Elections by calling 612-348-5151. An absentee ballot application may be downloaded with Adobe Acrobat Reader by clicking on the link below

Application is also available in Hmong, Russian Somali, Spanish and Russian on the Secretary of State's forms page. Please allow at least seven days to complete the process.
