Weight Restrictions

All city streets are designated as five ton per axle roads except for those streets listed in city ordinance 6.021 which are of nine ton per axle design. The City Council has adopted State Statute 169.80 through 169.88.

Seasonal restrictions are in effect from March 20 to May 15 of each year. The seasonal time frame may be modified by a resolution if deemed necessary by staff. A special permit is available if deemed necessary for the "public good."
