Unfortunately, we have no control over how much snow is placed in your driveway.
The volume typically depends on the amount of snowfall.

I have more snow in my driveway than my neighbor. Why?
The city has no way of controlling the amount of snow deposited in your driveway. Many times it depends on the amount of snow storage available in the boulevard or how much drifting is near your driveway.

The City snow plow damaged my boulevard, will the City repair the damage?
Please call Public Works at 763-592-6764 to report your name and address. Public Works will schedule the repair for early summer.

The snow plow operator knocked over my mailbox, whom do I talk to about the repair?
Call Public Works at 763-592-6764 and the Street Supervisor will check the damage to determine if the mailbox was damaged by a mechanical piece of the snow plow or just the sheer weight of the snow. Most mailbox damage is from a lack of maintenance, such as a rotted post. Please check your mailbox post annually to determine the structural quality.

I live in a cul-de-sac and I receive more snow in my yard than the other neighbors in my cul-de-sac, why is this?
Most cul-de-sacs have limited snow storage, with driveways, mailboxes, and fire hydrants occupying most of the possible snow storage areas. Because of the limited snow storage areas in some yards, some homes do receive more snow than others.
