Operation Identification

Operation Identification is a free service of the New Hope Police Department. Program participants are supplied with a 13-digit identification number that they can place on many of their valued household possessions. This number, applied with an etching tool, will identify property that is recovered from a burglary.

Operation ID stickers displayed on the windows of participant's home may also ward off some burglars. The etching tool is available for use by New Hope residents, free of charge.
