This winter, ice rinks with warming house facilities will be maintained at four New Hope parks:
- Liberty Park, 60th and Gettysburg avenues
- Civic Center Park, 44th and Xylon avenues
- Hidden Valley Park, 32nd and Boone avenues
- Lions Park, 38th and Oregon avenues
Outdoor rinks will be open from December 19 to February 14, weather permitting.
Each park will have both a hockey and general skating rink. Hockey sticks and pucks are only allowed in the hockey rinks. Due to safety factors, hockey equipment is not allowed on the general ice area. Check with the warming house attendant to determine when activities are scheduled that will preempt open skating.
Warming House Hours
- School Vacation Days - 1-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
- School Days - 5-9 p.m.
- Saturdays - 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
- Sundays - 1-5 p.m.
- December 24 and 31 - 1-3 p.m.
- December 25 and January 1 - Closed
