Information Technology
The Information Technology (IT) division of the City Manger’s Office supports the city’s computer hardware, software and networking needs. By working together with city departments and employees, IT implements solutions to provide citizens, businesses, and city employees efficient and reliable access to information and services.
Information Technology staff also:
- Manages multiple types of technology that include desktop and laptop computers, printers, fax and copy machines, wireless devices, various software programs, and the telephone and voicemail system.
- Provides technical support, training, and troubleshooting for hardware and software problems as well as supporting electronic communications and data storage devices.
- Addresses networking security and connectivity issues while proactively performing system maintenance and software upgrades.
- Provides assistance and coordinates efforts between departments to improve the use of technology and ensure an efficient and modern information system.
