The Community Development Department:
- Defines future city development through long-range planning and zoning requirements.
- Reviews commercial and industrial development proposals for compliance with city standards. Coordinates all construction and remodeling activities in the city.
- Protects public health and safety by ensuring compliance with city, county, state, and federal building codes.
